Taxation Manager/Director
The Taxation Manager/ Director will play a key role in providing specialist advice to the business with regard to all applicable domestic and international taxes.
The role will monitor the day to day tax activities including tax compliance and filing requirements. The role will also ensure that the Fund minimises foreign tax leakage by reviewing and benchmarking proposed investment structures for tax efficiency and compliance transparency. This will include liaison with external advisors as appropriate.
The ideal candidate will be appropriately qualified (e.g. business, commerce, law) and have postgraduate qualifications (e.g. investment related, masters of taxation), and has 10+ years in a taxation service line or corporate tax department with exposure to international tax jurisdictions.
Exposure to private markets transactions and/or sovereign immunity issues will be well regarded.
Manager, Enterprise & Portfolio Compliance Risk
The Manager, Enterprise & Portfolio Compliance Risk role is a key role within the organisation and is a member of the Risk Committee. You will positively contribute to identifying, monitoring and managing risks (ex market) across the Fund and the Agency.
A key responsibility is the development of an overarching risk management compliance program to continually assess the effectiveness of the operation of the key controls as identified and monitored by the Risk Committee. This will involve the development of processes and monitoring activities and a “scorecard” of outcomes to enable efficient reporting to the Risk Committee and the Board Audit Committee regarding compliance.
The successful candidate will have 7+ years experience in the financial services industry with knowledge of financial products including 5+ years risk and/or compliance experience preferably within a financial services organization. You will have appropriate tertiary and post graduate qualifications. Experience within an investment operations and/or finance function will be well regarded
