The Board will determine an investment strategy for the Future Fund that best meets the Government's Investment Mandate. This strategy may be informed by external advice from an asset consultant.
The Minister for Finance and Administration has issued the Designated Actuary Determination 2006 for the Future Fund. In accordance with the Future Fund Act 2006, a copy of the determination is available here.
The Designated Actuary’s Target Asset Level Declaration specifies the target asset levels for the Future Fund for the 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10 financial years. The target asset levels will be used to inform Government decisions about transfers to and draw downs from the Future Fund.
