The Future Fund Management Agency has appointed Alicia Gregory to the role of Head of Private Equity.
Ms Gregory will lead the Future Fund’s private equity team, relationships with external partners and the global private equity portfolio.
Ms Wendy Norris, Deputy Chief Investment Officer, Private Markets said:

Alicia has extensive experience in leading a global private equity team and managing a sophisticated program including significant co-investments. She is strongly positioned to lead our team and further develop our successful private equity program.’
Ms Gregory will join the Future Fund shortly and will be based out of the organisation’s Sydney office. She will report to Wendy Norris, Deputy Chief Investment Officer, Private Markets.
The organisation will recruit additional senior staff to the private equity team.

The Future Fund is Australia’s sovereign wealth fund. At 31 December 2018 it was valued at $147bn and has returned 9.7% pa over the last 10 years, against a target benchmark return of 6.6% pa. Investment returns have added over $86bn to the original contributions of $60.5bn made by government.
Established to strengthen the Australian government’s long-term financial position, the Future Fund Board of Guardians, supported by the Future Fund Management Agency, is responsible for investing the assets of the Future Fund. The Board of Guardians is also responsible for investing five other public asset funds with a combined value of $34bn.
Alicia Gregory, Head of Private Equity
Alicia Gregory has worked within the PE program of MLC for the last 14 years and brings with her significant experience as an investor and leader.
Alicia has over 20 years' experience in the financial services sector. This career includes investment research with the ThreeSixty Investment Strategy & Research team and prior to that she worked at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia in various research and credit related roles. Alicia holds a Bachelor of Business from University of Technology, Sydney, is a CFA charterholder and has completed the General Management Programme at INSEAD.
