Head of Listed Equities

The Future Fund Management Agency has appointed Genevieve Murray to the role of Head of Listed Equities.

Ms Murray will lead the organisation's equities portfolio while also bringing her experience and insights to the continued development of the overall investment program, consistent with the organisation's 'one-team' approach.

Ms Murray will report to David George, Deputy Chief Investment Officer, Public Markets.

Mr George said:

'I am thrilled to welcome Genevieve to the Future Fund.  Genevieve has extensive experience spanning research, equities portfolio management and leadership roles.  She is strongly positioned to lead our team and build on the strong foundations of our listed equities program while contributing to the investment program as a whole.

'I would like to thank Megan Ford for serving as Acting Head of Listed Equities since March 2020.  She has done a fantastic job leading the team and overseeing the portfolio through a particularly challenging period.'

Ms Ford will continue in her capacity as Acting Head of Listed Equities until Ms Murray commences.

Genevieve Murray

Genevieve Murray has worked in asset management for over 20 years and brings with her significant experience as an investor and leader.

Genevieve has been Head of Australian Equities with AMP Capital since October 2017 where she has led three specialised Australian Equity investment teams responsible for $10bn of funds under management.

Prior to this Genevieve had an extensive and successful career with Macquarie Group, primarily in quantitative portfolio management and investment leadership roles.
